We had the roast duck (yum), Singaporean noodles, deep fried fish fingers (sorry, not sure the name), and one of the green veggies. Plenty for four people. Left full and happy.

This first review is limited to a couple of dishes only.

I've walked pass V Garden a few times in the Great Wall Mall, always just passing through to 99 Ranch.  Today, we made an effort to stop and have a meal.  Walking in, I immediately hear Cantonese amongst the wait staff, some kitchen staff, and customers.  Right away, I thought score, might just be a good place.

The tables are quite tightly fitted in them.  Most of the tables are large too; they must be expecting mostly families to eat there.

There are only two of us.  Hubby chose the beef and broccoli from the lunch menu.  I chose the seafood congee.  They gave us both the egg drop soup, even though my should not have included it.  That was nice of them.  My seafood congee was AMAZING.  Specifically, the congee itself was amazing.  For really good congee, there's a flavor that is simple, slightly salted, yet definitely flavorful.  They nailed it.  It's sadly uncommon for a restaurant to nail that flavor.  I was pleasantly surprised.  I was disappointed that the shrimp in it are the small ones where they didn't bother to de-vein.  Eww.  Definitely a pet peeve.  Hubby liked his beef and broccoli.  Another pleasant surprise is that even the lunch portion is big enough to take some home.  Bonus!  The egg drop is meh.  The bright yellow color is from ??, maybe bouillon cubes.  Thanks but no thanks.

I need to return with a bigger group to try more items before I know what the final rating is.

The wonton soup is better than another restaurants I have eaten, and the price is not too expensive .

V Garden inside 99 ranch is an good choice to get yummy authentic Chinese food! I've been three times all with a party of greater than 6 and their service is impeccable. All servers are friendly and move quick to get through the crowds! Weekends from lunch to dinner tend to always be busy. However, regardless of how busy they get, the food always comes out quick and typically all at once or close which is nice. Not to mention that each dish they give you a pretty big proportion for it's price, that can caters to a family of four or more!

Anyways, my family and I are a big fan of their garlic green beans, honey walnut shrimp, and their general tao chicken! They're always hot, fresh, and seasoned well. Although, my girlfriend did mention that the food tasted a bit on the saltier side today. It could be her taste buds or it could be ours, who knows! And also, If you happen to not finish everything, they kindly box your left overs. And a plus is that they provide dessert, which is taro tapioca pudding (yum)!!

My cousin wanted all of us to meet here since the majority of us are returning back home in the afternoon. At the time that we arrived there were a lot of people already inside the restaurant. We had a reservation but our party was not able to get two tables right by each other.

    We ordered:
    - westlake minced beef soup
    - sweet and sour pork with pineapples
    - house special crispy noodles
    - honey glazed walnut prawns
    - beef with green bell pepper
    - house special fried rice

Everything was exceptionally good. Love the flavor that each dish delivered. I also got to try one piece of their fried chicken. It was really good. I wished we got to order some of that too.

Overall, the food was so delicious and service here was great. I will have to come here again.
